If I don\u2019t get a chance, then the next guy shouldn\u2019t get a chance. Or If I don\u2019t get a chance, then we shouldn\u2019t offer any other person a chance. When I see people take such positions, they remind me of zero sum<\/g> games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


If you live with a scarcity mentality, your only way to get to riches is to move as many people as possible the other way. An abundance mentality sees as many people co-habiting the riches side of the continuum as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Let\u2019s take a more subjective example. Love and hate, or friendship and enmity. One way to have more friends on your side is to make others look bad. A win-lose mindset operates like this. <\/p>\n\n\n\n


What about at work?<\/p>\n\n\n\n


It takes the collective effort of a group of people, working together towards a common vision to build a successful workplace. And at any stage of any organization, there are multiple roles to play to satisfy individual needs and at the same time move an organization forward. \u00a0The noble way to have as a member of a group is not to displace others with a strategic plot to fulfill a self-need,<\/g> but to seek ways to complement each other in achieving the group\u2019s objective. <\/p>\n\n\n\n


Based on our realities, we all possess unique abilities. Think for yourself \u2013 how can I get what I want from a relationship without stealing what the other person has?<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Other ways to develop an abundance mentality is to develop a habit of daily gratitude, appreciate other people in your relationships and groups, spend more time with abundance-minded people and find opportunities for synergies rather than competition. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
